I'm an engineer, educator, and entrepreneur that loves and lives in NYC.
In 2012 I started Flatiron School and served as the Dean and Chief Product Officer for 8 years. After that I joined Revature also as the Chief Product Officer. Three years later, I'm now exploring new opportunities.
Talents and skills I bring include programming, especially in the Ruby on Rails stack. Engineering management and mentorship, I've led teams as big as 60. Product development and leadership, software I've built has sold for over $10 million and been used by hundreds of thousands people. Over a decade of experience with developer platforms and experiences. Learn more about the work I've done .
I'd love to be working on hard problems that require creative technology solutions. A product-centric company with incredible people is where I want to call home.
No matter what, I'd love to hear from you, so reach out.
Things I've done recently:
I've been writing about Learn.co, the LMS I built at Flatiron School. It used real tools and social learning to create something magical.
I recently created an open source component library for Ruby on Rails, something I desperately think we need.
I've been writing a series of posts about how to build a drag and drop uploader directly to s3. It's pretty cool and was featured in RubyWeekly.com
